Day Pass is a good option for

• new people who are thinking about being a member and would like to explore our space 

• for people familiar with our place who are not planning to get a membership yet, but wants to visit the studio sometime

  Day Pass includes

Use of the hand-building workspace and a pottery wheel.

Clay (up to 2 lb per visit) and tools

First firing of all pieces you made for 3 hours

Instructor support is provided, but this is not a guided session. 

A short tour to get to know with the place and of what the ceramic cycle looks like (optionally)

Newcomers or Experienced

Newcomers start with hand-sculpting area, Experienced ones use both workspaces – hand-sculpting or pottery wheel. “Experienced” in pottery wheel throwing means that you are able to center clay by your own.

After the first firing
Your project will be dried and fired within 1-2 weeks. There are the options to get your finished project:

- Pick your piece up unglazed after firing, for free

- Add a visit for glazing in advance to save your time and money, $19

- Book an appointment for glazing later at https://capybaraclay.as.me/paintyourproject, $25
